Butamax signs LoI with two ethanol producers on biobutanol production

BP/DuPont joint venture Butamax Advanced Biofuels LLC signed Letters of Intent (LoI) with two ethanol producers interested in becoming Early Adopters of the company's biobutanol technology for transportation fuel.

Butamax launched its Early Adopters Group in December 2011 with founding member Highwater Ethanol, based in Lamberton, Minnesota.
