LESS PURE ETHANOL IMPORTS IN 2011 BECAUSE OF E-90

EU ethanol imports (excluding E-90 and ETBE) in December 2011 amounted to 52.7 mln litres. This brought the calendar year total to 469.1 mln litres. The 2011 total is below the 497.0 mln litres in 2010 and 1.206 bln in 2009.
