Brazil increases drinks can production

BRAZIL is expected to produce more than 20 billion aluminium cans for beverages in 2012, while installed capacity will reach 25 billion units by the end of this year.
Last year, the industry sold 18.46 billion aluminium beverage cans to bottlers, up by 13% from 2010, according to Brazil's Producers' Association of Highly Recyclable Cans (Abralatas).
