Japanese secure 24% stake in Australian dairy venture

Japanese trading concern Mitsubishi Corporation has agreed to acquire a minority stake in Australia's Tasmanian Dairy Products (TDP), a move that will enable it to further expand its dairy manufacturing business.
TDP was set up last September by Murray Goulburn - Australia's largest dairy export manufacturer, handling approximately three billion litres a year or one-third of the country's milk.
