Omira pins hopes on a stabilising dairy market
Monday June 18 2012
Germany's Omira Oberland Milchverwertung generated its highest ever turnover in 2011, but the company sees the current year as one of concern.
Omira's turnover rose by 16% to a record €582 million last year, while it doubled investments to €10m. It increased the volume of milk it marketed by around 50 000 tonnes (48.5m litres) to over one million tonnes (971m litres).
